Kwesta calls out Anele over R500k interview
Local rapper Kwesta has called the 'Real Talk With Anele' host Anele Mdoda after the R500 000 interview scandal with the Minister of Social Development, Bathabile Dlamini.
In a heated exchange between the 'Spirit' rapper and Ms Mdoda, Kwesta commented on an article where the 'Real Talk With Anele' executive producer Yusuf Stevens stated that "it is not uncommon for people to pay for exposure on Real Talk".
— TVwithThinus (@TVwithThinus) January 18, 2018In the quote tweet, Kwesta implied that this is the reason that he has not been able to appear on the popular talk show.

Mdoda did not take these claims lightly responding to his accusations stating that he was "lying to people" and the show had invited him two times and that he didn't pitch for either of them.

Kwesta then quickly changed his tune, apologising to Mdoda, her team and her viewers.
Again. Apologies, how can I make it up to you? That was unprofessional & disrepectful to you your team, your listeners.. Well & truly sorry!

“lying to people” is an unfair remark for a question though... Uxolo sisi regardless. https://t.co/cm9onSV9x7
Mdoda then accepted his apology stating that they "are cool" and he was "forgiven".
We are cool, we will carry on asking till you come. We even hired a performance desk for you chap but we are cool. The team will try again. We are good and you are forgiven. Spiriiiiiiiiiiit :) https://t.co/USYT575Yy5
